A structured discovery layer for public data — index and API infrastructure that helps developers, researchers, journalists, and institutions find publicly available datasets and their sources.
Local document digitization and searchable archival infrastructure — scan, digitize, index, search, retrieve — run on an organization's own infrastructure so it keeps control of its information.
Ongoing research into data pipelines for security agencies — helping the institutions that keep the public safe work more effectively with structured, reliable data.

We are not another profit-first startup. Bleugates Research exists to research problems, build working technology, and put information to work for people, institutions, and communities — starting from Ghana, useful anywhere.
We keep a startup's ethos — build fast, test in the real world, let evidence decide — but our measure of success is public value. Where a technology proves itself, revenue from it flows back into more research, not out of the mission.
